Ozark Regional Library offers genealogy and local history resources at all four branches—Annapolis, Fredericktown, Ironton, and Viburnum—to support patron interest in exploring family histories, local heritage, and historical research. Each branch provides access to a variety of in-house genealogy materials, including family histories, regional records, and newspaper archives.

The library also offers two microfilm readers in Fredericktown and Ironton with the ability to print, scan, and create digital collages from microfilm materials. These resources are available for in-house use only and support research using newspapers, census records, and other historical documents.

Additional resources include materials for Civil War research, local and regional history collections, and guidance from knowledgeable staff to help patrons navigate available tools and records. Whether you’re beginning your family history journey or continuing in-depth research, Ozark Regional Library is committed to preserving and providing access to the stories of our communities.
